URGENTLY NEEDED
A new forest plantation development is currently being set up in NTB to establish a sustainable supply of fuel wood. This plantation development consists of 2 components;
Hutan Tanaman Industri within the Kawasan Hutan
A financing and technical assistance program with local farmers to develop Hutan Rakyat (HR) outside of the Kawasan Hutan.
This development is a new division of a long established and successful company in Lombok, NTB and will become the main supplier of fuel wood within Lombok Island. A total target plantation establishment of 15,000 hectares is planned.

Forestry Operational Planning Supervisor (Code : FOPS)
Responsibilities:
Annual Operational Planning and Monitoring
- Assist the Planning Manager to prepare the Annual Operational Plan (RKT) in accordance with legal requirements.
- Plan, organize and implement, RKT boundary marking on the ground in all operational areas, including Tata Batas, in accordance with legal requirements.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of the Annual Operational Plan, present monthly reports to the Forestry Manager.
- Ensure the concession Land Use Statement is maintained correctly and accurately and that this is in alignment with operational progress reports on a monthly basis.
Plantation Inventory & Monitoring
1. Plan, organise and implement the annual Plantation Inventory program, including :
- Plantation Monitoring Assessemnt (I & II)
- Permanent Sample Plots (legal requirements)
- Mid-rotation and Pre-harvest (legal requirement) Standing Stock Inventory.
- Includes all Operational Planting and Field Trial locations.
2. Provide training to relevant field staff in all Inventory and Growth & Yield measuring techniques.
Operations Audit
Develop and implement a system of operational auditing to identify any inconsistencies between operational field reports and actual usage / achievements in terms of material consumption and operational achievement.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Forestry or 5 years work experience equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work throughout Lombok.
- Preferably Supervisors specializing in Forestry or equivalent.
- Can operate survey instruments and has a good background of forest inventory and survey.
- Physically fit and healthy
- Full-Time positions available.
