The  ASEAN‐German Programme on Response  to  Climate  Change:  Agriculture, Forestry and Related Sectors (GAP‐CC) seeks qualified ASEAN National candidates for 3 positions:

SENIOR ADVISORS ON CLIMATE CHANGE & MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES (Based in Jakarta)

Responsibilities:  

• Professional advice to partners and relevant stakeholders on Climate Response Strategies and Climate Proofing under the ASEAN Multi‐Sectoral Framework on Climate Change: Agriculture and Forestry towards Food Security (AFCC)
• Responsible for coordination and implementation of climate response strategies in priority value chains, vulnerable regions and application of climate proofing methodology for national investment projects in the agriculture and forestry sectors

               
Qualifications:

• Masters/MSc or doctorate (PhD) in the field of Climate Change, Agriculture, Rural Development or related fields
• Minimum of 10 years of professional working experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
• Fluent written and spoken English. Additional ASEAN languages preferable        

      
Duration of contract : August 2012 – January 2015
