- Serve as Study Lead for regulatory field trials in Indonesia.
- Coordinate field trial protocols with the Government Centers/Universities/ with internal team members (in Asia Pacific, US and DuPont Knowledge Center [DKC], India) to meet current data requirements for product approvals.
- Conduct regulatory field trials of biotechnology derived crops, prepare data collection points, collect data in collaboration with local agronomy team and external field cooperators
- Monitor field study progress through communication with external field cooperators and field site visits.
- Understand data requirements to complete a successful field trial.
- The data requirements include but not restricted to agronomy, entomology and molecular studies.
- Coordinate sample analysis with internal and external laboratories.
- Review results and study reports drafted by third party institutes and coordinate with the technical writing groups at Ankeny, Iowa or DKC India.
- Ensure that studies are conducted in compliance with the country standards and proceed as per company timelines.
- Learn state, federal, and corporate regulations associated with testing of regulated biotech plants.
- General Requirements
- Master degree or Ph.D. degree in agronomy, entomology, plant science, or agriculture related field plus 2-4 years industry related experience.
- Experience conducting field research.
- Experience with field studies involving regulated biotechnology products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience working on complex, multi-phase projects in a team environment including external and internal team members.
- Good Oral and Written English
- Computer Profiency
