Job Description

• The Coffee Project Manager would be focused to establish farmer group programs in the site.
• Support Sustainability managers at the multiple origins in the establishment and control of the traceability system.
• Handle applications, external audits and internal audits for different coffee certification standards.
• Increase the farmer base to source sustainable coffee from the different origins.
• Motivate the team under his or her command to fulfill the tasks needed for the success of the different projects.
• Bring support to different areas when needed.

Requirements

• English language written and spoken to a good level.
• Have knowledge of certification standards and implementation (RFA, UTZ, FT, FTO, C.A.F.E. Practices).
• Motivated to work and live in the communities.
• Motivated to know different cultures, different languages and different places.
• Have the willingness to improve the condition of the farmers.
• Agriculture Engineer with focus on Rural Development and Natural Resources Management.
• Master in Rural Development would be a plus. 
• Have a strong inclination towards coffee production and research.
• Self motivated to do the job, complete the tasks on determined datelines.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Understand of the situation in the field for small farmers.
• Understand local Tapanuli languange will be advantage.
• High motivation to learn new things
