- Deep knowledge of commodities trading and wide network of contacts.
- Excellent knowledge of materials and sources of supply to meet product requirements
- Pursue sales lead, promote products and conclude order with professionalism.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with key customers; to grow the existing customer base and to develop new niche markets.
- Solicit competitive quotations as per requirements from various sources, and select the supplier with the most favorable bid, considering all the terms and conditions
- Negotiate purchase transactions, considering price, quality standards and delivery at terms favorable to the company
- Keep up-to-date with the current market and changing materials conditions to make recommendations according to current price trends and purchasing availability
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Business
- Min 3 year experience in commodity trading
- Good communication skill.
- Fluent in English is a must and other languages will be an advantage.
- A good team player who can be independent with very minimum supervision
- Self - driven and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
