Position
KfW is seeking a Technical Sector Coordinator (Forest Protection / Natural Resource Management) in its representative office in Jakarta
Expert in Forest Protection / Natural Resource Management
Responsibilities
Your primary task will be to monitor and facilitate the identification, preparation and implementation of Forest Protection and Natural Resource Management projects. You shall closely collaborate with our partners in Government instututions and NGOs.
Requirements and Skills are, inter alia:
- Post graduate degree in Forestry, or equivalent;
- At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible working experience with GoI, large international NGO and/or bi-/multilateral agencies;
- Proven technical know-how on forestry, natural resource management, land use planning, watershed management and/or biodiversity conservation;
- Knowledge of GoI´s climate change policies (e.g. REDD+);
- Proven experience in dealing with senior level government officials;
- Fluency in English (speaking/writing) and Indonesian language;
- Team-player with strong interpersonal-skills
