Position reports to:Director, Aquaculture and Sustainability Division
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize the efficient growth and survival of fish throughout the hatchery , nursery and grow out stages through the application of sound fish husbandry / aquaculture practices .
- Ensure continual production through all facilities.
- Implement , review and update the facilities bio-security and health management programs.
- Coordinate all expansion plans and socialize to local communities.
- Plans, prepare and executes proper repairs and maintenance required on all facilities and equipment including vehicles and boats.
- Ensure safeguards, security over all company equipment to prevent losses of any kind, including the establishment and implementation of safety procedures to safeguard all personnel.
- Implement existing SOPs .Review and update SOPs periodically or when required.
- Conduct feed trials and continually review feeding regimes to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Coordinate with government bureaucracies to facilitate the import of fingerlings.
- Submits all required reports in a timely manner.
- Recruit , train , motivate , discipline and schedule workforce.
- Ensures adherence to laws and regulations governing the operations (Manpower,Environmental,Local Authorities).
- Other duties as needed or assigned by the Director, Aquaculture and Sustainability.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in aquaculture with preference to commercial cage mariculture .
- Some maritime experience with small boats and engineering
- Able to withstand long periods outdoors and on inshore waters
- A broad understanding of fish health relating to, bacteria, parasites and water quality parameters.
- Practice efficient and effective feed management skills
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia, able to read English.
- Self-driven, results-oriented person with a positive outlook
- Team player with a positive work attitude and good work ethics
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Must be willing to relocate to Sumberkima, North Bali, applicant residing in Bali will have an advantage
- Salary: Dependent upon qualifications
