For further information, please refer to: www.aprilasia.com Plantation Technical Service Head Riau (Indonesia) - Pangkalan Kerinci Responsibilities: Coordinating plantation inventory measurement programmes (plantation early assessment, mid rotation, inventory and pre harvest inventory and setting up the APO (Annual Plan of Operations scheduling compartments for felling) Prepare the long range plan and growth and yield forecasting, impact of disease, ME6C5 strategy Maintain land bank and record of licences and ownership Maintain GIS and aerial photography for DEM (Digital Elevation and terrain Modeling for harvesting), blank spots and harvest micro planning as well as new technology Maintain databases and job instruction (Forest Management Information System and tracking materials Measuring actual weighbridge tons through Plantation Control System development Water management technical development Sustainabiliy and Carbon monitoring in peatland Cost benchmarking and fiber plantation reporting for group businesses Requirements: Bachelor degree from forestry or agriculture or science. Having minimum 10 years in depth experience in plantation forestry Good knowledge on plantation inventory measurement programmes, plantation planning, GIS and aerial photography for DEM, blank spots and harvest micro planning as well as new technology, database, water management, plantation control development, sustainability and carbon monitoring in peatland.
