Lowongan Manager - Agronomy [MAGR]

We are a well established foreign conglomerate having business interest in palm oil plantations, breweries, financial services and leisure. PT. Agro Harapan Lestari (A GoodHope Asia Holdings Company) is the groups plantations in Indonesia who has a land bank in excess of 100,000 hectares of plantations and mills in Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Selatan and Kalimantan Timur. In line with our expansion plans and commitments for growth, we are now seeking to recruit high caliber and dynamic professionals.

Manager - Agronomy [MAGR]
(Jakarta Raya)

Responsibilities:

• To analyze the leaf & soil analysis data and the development of suitable fertilizer mixers matching the soil conditions, enabling the increase of the yield and the oil extraction rates
• To collect field data & effectively review field histories and advice on replanting and other development programs
• To review the harvesting & agricultural practices and advice on methods to achieve higher yields at the lowest possible cost
• To collect all relevant agronomy data, summarize them as per prescribed formats and analyze the data and investigate for any exceptions and report to the Head of Agronomy
• The preparation of monthly progress & performance reports
• Effective maintenance of an agronomy data base consisting of crop details, field histories, labor information fertilizing results of folio and soil analysis and ensure the database is updated periodically and make available management information in a timely manner
• Coach, counsel and mentor your team members to encounter barriers and provide required support to realign performance and in accordance with department’s objectives
• Support the other department in the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, climate surveys, work/life balance programs Training interventions, etc
• Partake in cross functional projects on the instructions of the management

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in agriculture/aquaculture/forestry or equivalent.
• At least 7 Years work experience at the Management level in Agronomy preferably in the Palm Oil Industry
• Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status
• Preferably Senior for specializing in agriculture/forestry/fisheries or equivalent
• Having a good English both spoken and written. Strong leadership and computer skills
