Territory Sales Manager (Vegetable Seed)
Jawa Tengah

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Territory Sales Plan
  • Preparation and implementation of a territory business plan to meet sales and SG&A targets.
  • Create and capture opportunities to expand business within his/her territory.
  • Create strong long term relationship with customers through value selling and Demand Creation Activities
2. Develop and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships
  • Manage all dealer, retailer, kiosk, farmer relationships within his/her sales territory
  • Understand customers’ and partners’ questions & barriers to adoption and proactively sell the value of products and technologies to meet customer’s needs.
  • Work with key customers to gain a good understanding of the value proposition of Monsanto products and services.
  • Proactively resolve and record all customer issues, complaints, questions etc,
3. Sell the value of Monsanto products & technologies
  • Communicate FAB and value of products/technologies to farmers and other stakeholders to create demand
  • Build credibility, trust and value with customers. Work with customers in a collaborative fashion to understand and identify their business issues, strategies and priorities. Recommend products in response to customer needs. Articulate how Monsanto’s products solve the customer’s problem
4. Demand Creation Activities
  • Identify key Farmers, Village leaders that will engage to help support demand creation activities and build strong business partnership with these farmers
  • Conduct sales field trials according to guidelines provided by Technology Development. Guidelines will be provided at the start of each fiscal year. Trials must be utilized for the following groups to demonstrate our product benefits
  • Coordinate and implement other non-routine demand creation activities such as launch of new products, financiers meeting and caravans when necessary.
5. Management of Channel (dealers, retailers, kiosk, grain collectors) Distribution
  • Select and manage, key dealers, retailers, Kiosks within his/her territory.
  • Build and establish effective relationships with channel to ensure timely product availability, accurate forecasting, sales target achievement and collections.
  • Assess and manage the sales performance of distribution channel partners and recommend appropriate measures or programs to ensure achievement of POG, market share, product penetration.
  • Provide communication, training and support to channel distribution of Monsanto products and demand creation activities to increase sales within his/her territory.
6. Excellent Product Stewardship
  • Promote good stewardship of Monsanto products to ensure long term sustainability of all products and maximum customer value.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry, BioTechnology, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Agriculture/Forestry/Fisheries or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Having experience to drive sales and marketing activities in the field
  • Good leadership, result orientation. communication skill, team work, good networking, initiative and foresight skill
  • Having planning and organizing skill
  • Good proficiency in spoken and written English
