AREA MANAGER - MULTINATIONAL CONSUMER GOODS COMPANY
( AGRONOMY : PLANTATION / CROPS / GRAINS / COMMODITIES )

Candidates can be from any background, however should have exposure and interest in agronomy. We are looking for candidate with good educational background, dynamic and result oriented, with a passion for building excellence in the workplace.

AREA MANAGER

(Sumatra, Sulawesi and Java )

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement campaign/promotion strategy of Agricultural Program to supplier and farmers to build the awareness and encouragement to follow the programs and monitor the implementation of the programs.
• Provides general information on Agricultural Practices to Supplier and farmers and liaise with Agricultural Program departments on technical expertise support required by supplier and/or farmers.
• Supervises seedlings nursery, supervise & control in drying & cleaning process to ensure the availability of raw material aligned with company quality standards.
• Develop, monitor and evaluates the fertilizer distribution program implementation, including to identify and propose the potential farmer leaders to join the program to ensure the program optimization and liaise with Buying department in buying process from farmer leaders.
• Provides inputs on market report and intelligence information related with production and quality in the respected area to Plan and Development to assist in the establishment of Price Forecast.
• Provide advices to supplier regarding the Supplier operations by analysing the information and provide strategic solutions or drive Supplier Management in taking appropriate actions.
• Represents company in cooperation with Supplier Management in maintaining relationship with stakeholders and other parties in order to ensure mutual good relationship.

Requirements:

• Candidates can be from any background, however we would prefer a bachelor degree in Agronomy or Engineering or Management.
• 5-7 years working experiences with minimum 2 years experience in Managerial positions (Sales, Marketing & Production) preferably in working with Agriculture Sector.
• Having experiences in agronomy area will be an advantage.
• Will be based in Sumatra, Sulawesi or Java.
