Technical Marketing Support Specialist

[Pekanbaru Based]

Reporting to the Country Manager Environmental Science Indonesia. Bayer Environmental Science’s aspiration is to protect the environment we live in and improve our quality of life. It is to provide greater environmental, hygiene and health benefits, as well as to improve living standards and comfort by providing high quality non-agricultural pest and weed control.

Major Responsibilities :

• Develop strategic technical recommendation through conducting field efficacy trials to meet the needs of targeted forestry and plantations for herbicide program and rodent control management
• Manage and develop short, medium and long term action plans to anticipate and respond to market dynamics in forestry and rodenticide based on their unique needs, interests and business goals
• Identify and educate key influencers for targeted forestry and plantations on the value of new innovations and focusing on the benefits of using Bayer’s herbicide and rodenticide products
• Build strong and successful business relationships with targeted forestry and plantations customers
• Provide technical training and value information on the position of new herbicide and rodenticide products or innovative technologies to marketing and sales teams

Qualifications:

• University degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Biology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development or technical background in forestry or plantations
• Able to manage time and resources effectively to achieve goals
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Excellent computer skills
• Willingness to be based in outside Java
