Field Assistant - Plantation (Code: FA)

Responsibilities

• To assist the Assistant Estate Manager in maintaining the estate under good order and execute plantation activities of the estate
• To regularly inspect the growth of the plantation and take remedial actions to prevent them from disease and other natural hazards
• To coordinate the field operations and supervision of the activities such as harvesting, loose fruit collection, transporting FFB, fertilising, weeding, pruning and other field activities
• To make a budget

Requirements

• Minimum holds Bachelor Degree in or related disciplines preferably in Agronomy/Agricultural Cultivation
• Male, 28 – 38 years old
• Minimum 3 years experience in the same position in palm plantation industry
• Good administration skills and advanced in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
• Highly motivated and creative minded with  a strong drive to succeed
• Customer & service oriented person with passion and desire
• Work based at Estate (Sambas, West Kalimantan)
