Based in New York City, with offices throughout the United States and worldwide, the Rainforest Alliance works with people whose livelihoods depend on the land, helping them transform the way they grow food, harvest wood and host travelers.   The Rainforest Alliance’s Sustainable Agriculture Division works with farmers to ensure compliance with the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) standards for protecting wildlife, farm land, workers’ rights and local communities. The Sustainable Agriculture Division consists of the Sustainable Landscapes Program, the Sustainable Value Chains Program, the Traceability Unit and Program Administration. The work of the Manager, Asia-Pacific Region, Sustainable Agriculture Division is closely linked with colleagues at Rainforest Alliance’s London and Costa Rica office.   Within the Sustainable Agriculture Division, the Sustainable Landscapes Program provides training, develops training materials and local interpretation guidelines. Project development, fundraising, project implementation, budgeting and financial reporting are further key activities under the Sustainable Landscapes Program.  Coffee Field Consultant, Sustainable Landscapes Program Lampung Responsibilities: Preparing and or delivering training to farmers; Cooperating with funder; Maintain close collaborations with farmers and partner organization, and; Monitoring project activities in Tanggamus district and other coffee growing area in Lampung Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture; Fresh Graduates are welcome; Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Indonesian and English; Excellent computer skills (MS Office and Internet); Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the project areas.
