The Cocoa Sustainability Partnership (CSP) is a public-/-private partnership of cocoa industry stakeholders and supporters to achieve sustainable, profitable and competitive Indonesian cocoa industry for the mutual benefit of all stakeholders is seeking for the right candidate to join our team as:
GENERAL SECRETARY
Job Purpose
· Promote sustainability issues in various forums, and to promote CSP as the effective forum for cocoa sustainability issues modeled on other successful forums.
· To establish CSP as an internationally and nationally recognized forum for sustainability solutions in the Indonesian cocoa sector.
· Manage permanent and part time staff of the secretariat to ensure that CSP publications are published appropriately and on time and that all activities of the secretariat are performed in the spirit of partnership, honesty, and balance.
· Facilitate subcommittee and management meetings on quarterly basis
· Liaise with government officials and private players in cocoa industry
· Monitor cocoa issues from field (farmers), policy (government) and businesses (private players) and disseminate to members.
· Develop and manage the annual budget and secretariat expenses
· Manage and harmonize the Monitoring and Evaluations of CSP members’ program
Qualifications
· The ability to think strategically and influence / lead others in a consultative process to develop agreement between participating members leading to greater co-operation. And the ability to network with and influence other organizations and people.
· The ability to facilitate multiple stakeholder meetings, deliver presentations, professionally represent members, and writing reports as appropriate in both English and Indonesian language.
· Experience in program management and project management, good knowledge of the agricultural sector and good understanding on Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) of program development activities.
· Demonstrated supervisory skills and managing high performing teams.
· The maturity, presence (charisma) and media management skills to be able to appear on television, or represent the CSP to various mass media as required.
· The ability to operate Microsoft office package (at least Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point) and a solid knowledge of the use of the internet as a medium for communication.
