Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing location EHS and Sustainability Strategy:
- Participates in the location Environmental and Sustainability (“E&S”) risks and opportunities assessment process
- Administer the location E&S tactics to manage risk across the location
- List of core programs:
- 3-year EHS Plan annually
- Cargill Global EHS Program
- CTP program assurance procedure and policy
- ISO 14001
- RSPO
- ISCC
- Local Government Environmental Assessment – PROPER
- ISPO
- Any other sustainability program BU chooses to be certified against as they come along.
- Implement EHS and Sustainability Programs:
- Defining environmental risks and manages loss control.
- Carrying out environmental comprehensive analysis.
- Ensuring that program assurance management systems are established implemented and maintained in accordance with the CEHS/External Certification Requirements and local laws and regulations.
- Ensuring entire management team understands program assurance management systems aspects of every type of operation.
- Monitoring all contractor activity in relation to environmental accidents and incidents of non-compliance.
- Ensuring the implementation of governmental Environmental programs.
- Ensuring HCV and any conservation/biodiversity programs executed as per monitoring plan.
- Reviewing and updating program assurance documents related to ensure they are up-to-date with CEHS policy and procedures, External Certification Requirements and local laws and regulations.

- Participates in the development of location E&S programs and processes to execute corporate, Business Unit and location EHSS strategy in a manner appropriate to the technology, scope and maturity of the location.
- Oversees the execution of location E&S programs and processes
- Benchmarks within the BU to identify best practices of others that can be applied effectively across the location
- Collaborates with operating unit managers to insert relevant elements of E&S strategy into their operations, via
- Defining and managing E&S risks.
- Carrying out E&S comprehensive analysis.
- Ensuring that E&S management systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with the CEHS/External Certification Requirements and local laws and regulations.
- Ensuring entire management team understands E&S management systems aspects and how that relates to their operations.
- Ensuring the implementation of governmental/company E&S objective, target and programs; AMDAL, HCV, Carbon saving, Environmental monitoring matrix, etc.
- Reviewing and updating E&S documents related to ensure they are up-to-date with CEHS policy and procedures, External Certification Requirements and local laws and regulations.
- Assure compliance with environmental and sustainability government laws, regulations and license requirements and measure compliance with government and corporate standard.
- Execute training for E&S programs.
- Orientation/induction training, monthly training and initial program rollouts as required
- Other training as per government requirements
- Review training materials as appropriate or as requirements change
- Maintains and continuously improves E&S Results:
- Under PAM guidance, conduct audit, inspection and risk assessment processes for the location as required:
- Assist in Global EHS Audit (all operating locations, all mills, all estates).
- Coordinate environmental and sustainability audits with external auditors
- Conduct applicable integrated internal audits E&S according to the plan.
- Reviews and analyzes audit results to confirm that the corporate, business and government standards on environment and sustainability are met.
- Identifies trends, isolates root causes and leads process to ensure that appropriate follow-up actions are being implemented.
- Communications, Records and Reporting role:
- Assist PAM in the preparation of the following reports (for the E&S items):
- Monthly PAM report
- EHS performance report to government offices
- AMDAL report to government offices
- Corporate Resource Energy and Efficiency
- Ensure E&S documentation is kept current for audit purpose.
- Shape internal EHS and Sustainability culture
- Partner with OU managers across the location effectively in order to obtain/sustain a strong E&S culture.
- Supports PAM and OU managers to promote proactive workplace E&S practices. Provides in-depth technical and regulatory understanding that is required to build a strong E&S culture.
- Assist PAM in the implementation of applicable recognition programs
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years related experience in management, auditing and compliance in the areas of Environmental and Sustainability. Deep knowledge in these programs and/or ability to achieve this knowledge level within 12 months.
- Minimum of 3 years working directly in an operating environment ideally in the food manufacturing or like industry.
- Ideally candidate has degree in a technical field and direct experience in an operating environment.
- Candidate must have English and Bahasa Indonesia language proficiency in writing, reading and speaking
- Candidate must be able to present themselves well across the organization from the GM to labor.
- Self directed: able to understand the role of the job and be successful without high level of direct supervision
- Ability to communicate to all level of stakeholders
- Strong analytic, strategic and influencing skills
- Ability and strong desire to implement, execute and follow-up a program
- Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment
