We are a public listed company in Malaysia seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following position in our oil palm plantation subsidiary in Kalimantan, Indonesia as:

Operation Manager - CPO Bulking Terminal

• 
  
  In possession of a Master or a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental or Safety Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in operating and managing a CPO bulking terminal or a CPO plant.


• 
  
  Some experience in business development will be an added advantage.


• 
  
  You are fully accountable for the daily operational issues of the CPO bulking terminal for the controls of CPO and palm kernel to all its related activities including safety, maintenance, logistic with overall profitability of the Bulking Station.


• 
  
  Possess good people skills and is effective in managing the local and cultural sensitivities in order to build up a strong and motivated team.


• 
  
  A high level of personal integrity and honesty coupled with a positive mental attitude are essential to the success of the CPO Bulking Terminal.


• 
  
  Must be effective in liaising and maintaining good relationship with the relevant port authorities.


• 
  
  Willing to work in Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Located on the cool and scenic slopes of Mount Arjuna about two hours south of Surabaya and an hour from Malang, we have set up an eco-tourism resort business to support the foundation activities. In addition to this, we are now expanding into the Organic Agriculture business to promote responsible and community based farming.

We now have vacancy for the following position in the Organic Agriculture business:-

CROP PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Job :

• 
  
  Responsible for management of the Nursery to meet production requirements.


• 
  
  Responsible for the management of the crop cultivation process to meet the agreed production requirements per production schedule from PPQC.


• 
  
  To ensure that the agreed standards for seedlings and crop yield are met in terms of productivity, quality and cost.


• 
  
  In liaison with Production Support Department, to provide the necessary information for the quantity required to meet production requirements for compost, fertlizers and pesticides, taking into account the lead time.


• 
  
  To manage the Farmers Co-operative Programme including providing techno-commercial support, relationship building, crop cultivation methodology, training, MoU terms and financial performance.


• 
  
  To implement and manage an effective and systematic process for all transactions with the


• 
  
  Co-op Farmers, ensuring that there is documented evidence of all goods/ materials transferred to, and received from, the Farmers for accounting purposes.


• 
  
  Responsible for harvesting of crops, and grading of produce, before transferring to Production Support Division.


• 
  
  To keep abreast on the latest crop production methodology and technology in sustainable agriculture.

Our Requirements :

• 
  
  A graduate in agriculture with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, good understanding in crop production management, with proven track record of success. Those who have experience in crop production in a farmers co-op programme are encouraged to apply.

  Must love field work, trouble shooting, with good planning and organizational skills.


• 
  
  Good leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in Bahasa


• 
  
  Indonesia and preferably in English) to build good working relationships with the farming community.
